It's difficult since I experienced a very personal loss that has no explanation. Hearing it from the expert did help me personally. The outcome still sucks but Dr Schirmer Is a professional and sticks to the science.

Dr was very affable. However, had not fully read my chart and when I asked for a sonogram room they said it wasn't necessary. However after 6 different attempts to get a catheter in, 4 different catheters and 2 different rooms, they ended up needing the sonogram room after all. Additionally didn't change gloves after leaving the room and searching around for different catheters.Please do better. Read patients full chart, listen to patients concerns. Wash hands and change to clean gloves if leaving room or touching multiple surfaces.

Dr. Schirmer was EXCELLENT!!! The only thing that I wish he had done was taken better notes. I didn't complain of pain, yet he wrote that I did.
